Our Process

We try to make the whole tax-filing process as streamlined and uncomplicated as possible.

STEP 1: After your initial inquiry, we will arrange a short telephone appointment where we answer any questions you may have and you tell us about your situation.

STEP 2: If you decide you want to work with us, we set you up with a secure online ShareFile box to upload your last year’s tax return and your current year tax documents.

STEP 3: We will study these submissions and be in contact by email or telephone for any clarifications or additional items needed.

STEP 4: When your tax returns have been finalized, they will be uploaded into your ShareFile box for your review.

STEP 5: After you have had a chance to review your returns, you will sign the e-file authorization forms we have provided and return those to us with payment for our services.

STEP 6: When those items have been received, we will electronically transmit your returns to the various federal and state agencies and that will complete the process until next year.

* You are more than welcome to visit our office for any of the above steps, but in recent years tax preparation and filing has moved very strongly into the virtual realm and we find that the majority of our clients prefer it this way.
